The Pains of Deep Grief

Q. Since my brother’s death six months ago, I have been experiencing sharp pains around my chest area. He and I were very close. What shall I do about the pains.

A. So very sorry to hear that your brother died. No wonder you have these pains. Grief is held in the large intestine and the lung area, so the pains you are experiencing is the grief held in your body. The pains respond well to slower, deeper breathing and gentle massage and stretching. I suggest you begin your day by breathing slowly and deeply as you massage the area with your hands. Keep your eye on the pains and if they after a few months they are not easing, I suggest you see your Dr and ask for a chest XRay. Good luck.
